This was my first visit and hopefully not my last, its a shame its now closed. I was happy to learn that their plans to refurbished and hopefully reopen. This church stands in old Sunderland town in the east end.
Holy Trinity opened its doors for the first time in 1719 and closed it doors as a church in 1988 it is now owned by the churches conservation trust, the trust allow it to be open on special occasions.
